To The Beach We Go

As much as I love Auckland, I also love getting away. This weekend I loaded up the car with yummy food and a few good books and headed south to my Mumma's house (aka Te Punga Lodge)

I arrived late at night and after whipping up a quick dinner (more on that later!) made a beeline straight for bed. I do get a bit jealous wondering how much fun my friends might be having back home but it's all forgotten when I wake up to this.

As always, first on the agenda was a heading down to the beach for a walk with our dog Sammy, who by the looks of it is even more excited than me to be here.

Why don't I do this every weekend!
